We use a variety of tools to monitor wildlife populations at Prairie Ridge. One tool that has proved useful is the infrared camera. This camera is set up in remote areas and is triggered by an animal's body heat, allowing us to capture images of more secretive species. The following is a small sample of photos taken by the camera.
Bait stations using food or predator urine are used to attract the animals closer to the camera. Be sure to look for other signs of these animals during your next visit to Prairie Ridge.
