Requirements: 
Educator Treks are open to classroom teachers, administrators, informal educators and those working on their Environmental Education Certification through the NC Office of Environmental Education.

$25 (includes insect resource manual, pinning board, butterfly display box, numerous exotic butterfly specimens)

Thanks to a generous grant from the Walmart Foundation, all Educator Trek costs have been reduced for 2012-13. Listed cost reflects this reduction.

Prepare, pin and mount a variety of spectacular tropical butterflies. Learn the various techniques used to catch, preserve and mount these and other fascinating arthropods. Explore the possibilities of insect collecting in your backyard.
