Water Harvesting

To conserve water, rainwater is collected using a gently sloping roof made of a special durable roofing material called Galvalume. This water is stored in our cistern and used to flush the toilets.

Researchers from NCSU measure the amount of water conserved as part of their water harvesting research.

To Learn more about water harvesting research visit North Carolina State University's Water Harvesting web pages.
