Permanent Exhibits

The Museum features nine different exhibit halls which show the diversity and depth of North Carolina’s natural habitats, and three floors of exhibits, labs and interactive areas in its new wing, the Nature Research Center. Every year, more than a million visitors explore the natural world — from whales to worms, mountains to manatees — without ever leaving Raleigh.

Experience a new adventure on every floor.
