Mapping Disease Using GIS
Use GIS to analyze the spread of infectious disease in North Carolina. GIS refers to computer-based mapping and modeling and is one of science’s most powerful tools used to answer questions and make predictions about important issues. Using freely available data and soft¬ware, learn how scientists use GIS by solving a real-world problem. This program is 1 1/2 hours. This program will be held in the Visual World Investigate Lab.
