$60 per program

Learn about and then perform Gram staining on a variety of bacterial species.  Use compound microscopes equipped with 100x oil immersion lenses to characterize the morphology and determine the Gram-positive or Gram-negative results of the bacteria.  Become proficient in the use of compound microscopes and learn how to calculate total magnification.  This program is 1 ½ hours.
