Explore the process of mitosis and cytokinesis during a hands-on cell cycle activity and then use compound microscopes to examine prepared onion root tip slides. Learn how to identify real cells in interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase and cytokinesis. Become proficient in the use of compound microscopes and learn how to calculate total magnification. This program is 1 1/2 hours. This program takes place in the Micro World Investigate Lab.
