Bugs & Slugs
Join us on a backyard safari to meet some of the "wildest” animals – the invertebrates! Discover animals without backbones; some with no legs and some with dozens of legs. Touch animals with squishy skin and hard shells.
Program includes 20 minutes of exploration in the Museum's Discovery Room which is filled with Discovery Boxes, Discovery Drawers, microscopes, an active beehive, animal costumes, animal hand puppets and much more. Teachers receive a packet with material and a natural history object for the class's science center. This program is adapted for each age group.

Scheduling information: Scheduling for the 2013–2014 school year begins Tuesday, August 13, 2013. You must register for programs at least six weeks in advance of your group's visit.
