Join us on a backyard safari to meet some of the "wildest” animals – the invertebrates!  Discover animals without backbones; some with no legs and some with dozens of legs.  Touch animals with squishy skin and hard shells.

Program includes 20 minutes of exploration in the Museum's Discovery Room which is filled with Discovery Boxes, Discovery Drawers, microscopes, an active beehive, animal costumes, animal hand puppets and much more. Teachers receive a packet with material and a natural history object for the class's science center. This program is adapted for each age group.
