Learn About the Amazing Birds-of-Paradise
Saturday, December 7
You’ll get to shake a tail feather with Museum educators and Research Ornithologist John Gerwin. Participants will tour the Museum’s bird collection and Bird Lab, then try out several bird and feather related activities. You will then visit our newest Special Exhibit, National Geographic’s Birds of Paradise: Amazing Avian Evolution with Albert Ervin, our Coordinator of Special Exhibits. Resources will be provided. Each participant will also receive two passes to the Birds of Paradise Special Exhibit to be used at a later date. Bring your bird questions and your bag lunch.
