Whiteville Teen Science Cafe: Emergency Critical Care

  • Friday, April 28, 2017
  • 5:00pm - 7:00pm

CRHS airlink at sunset.

Have you ever noticed the helicopter that is often perched next to Columbus Regional Health System (CRHS) in Whiteville? It is an air ambulance that is part of the emergency care system in Southeastern North Carolina. The helicopter, along with its highly trained critical care transport staff, make sure patients with illnesses or injuries beyond the scope available at CRHS are safely taken to the most appropriate facility that can meet their needs. Come learn more about this life-saving organization and what it takes to become a team member.

This Cafe will meet at CRHS,  500 Jefferson Street in Whiteville, just inside the yellow canopy.

Can’t make it to the Cafe? Watch this program live on Facebook at 5pm Friday, April 28. You will be able to ask questions via the comment area in the live feed. Or watch any of our archived Cafes there at any time.

Teen Science Cafe is an informal, interactive program that promotes exploration, creativity & lifelong learning. Light snacks provided at the conclusion of the program.
