Birds Around Us with the Museum’s Research Curator for Ornithology, John Gerwin
Did you know that 20% of bird species in the U.S. have adapted to live in close proximity to humans and our structures? Some of these birds are familiar while others are a pleasant surprise. In this presentation we will learn about many of these “urban” birds, including how to identify them, attract them to your property, and otherwise enjoy them. Many resources are available to aid with our topics, and some of these will be discussed.
