Prairie Ridge Nature Adventure

  • Sunday, April 02, 2017
  • 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Take a guided hike to explore the grandeur of Prairie Ridge and learn about the environment that makes it unique. These afternoon hikes will immerse you in the outdoors and focus on Prairie Ridge’s biodiversity. From mammals and birds to reptiles and amphibians, each half to one mile hike will allow you to see the type of habitat that such species call home, with potential to see some of these extraordinary species themselves. With a changing weekly topic, you’ll never know what you might see or learn at Prairie Ridge!

No pre-registration required!  Meet by the entrance kiosk with a water bottle and clothing appropriate to the weather.  Closed toed shoes are required, but we recommend long pants, sunscreen, and a hat.

Want to know this week’s topic?  Check our Prairie Ridge Facebook page!  We do our best to get them posted by Friday afternoon.
