Bring your preschooler to the Museum’s outdoor learning space, Prairie Ridge Ecostation, as we explore nature’s crazy croakers – frogs and toads! Learn how to identify some of our native frogs and toads, listen to a story about the many changes that happen during a frog’s life, and explore the beautiful Prairie Ridge Ecostation trails leading up to the pond – home to many of our frogs and toads! Afterwards why not stick around and enjoy our wonderful Nature Play Area designed especially for kids 7 and under?
Space is limited to 12 children and adult supervision is required. This program takes place in the Prairie Ridge Outdoor Classroom. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals please!) for this program – you will walk on natural surface trails. Pre-registration is required.
To register or for more information, contact David Wood at firstname.lastname@example.org. In case of inclement weather, call the Prairie Ridge weather line at 919.707.8888, option 5, for information about possible cancellations.
