Paint-a-Poop

  • Thursday, March 10, 2016
  • 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Join Museum staff and learn about the science of scat!  The shape, size and color of scat can tell us about the diet, behavior, and even health of an animal. Indigestible objects like hairs, feathers, bones, insect parts and seeds can be clues about the animal’s last meal. As part of this class, we will supply plaster replicas of animal poop that you can paint, decorate and take home. Participants can create realistic-looking bear scat using dried nuts, seeds and berries!
