Lifelong Adventure: Bear Island and Croatan Adventure

  • 9:00am Friday, September 22, 2017 - 6:00pm Sunday, September 24, 2017

Spend Saturday on the pristine beaches of Bear Island (Hammocks Beach State Park) looking for shells, birdwatching or catching the sea breeze.  On Sunday we will explore the Longleaf Pine Savannas of the Croatan National forest looking for Venus fly-traps and fall blooming wildflowers.

Registration information: Registration is Full for this trip.
Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.

  • Fee: $75 ($65 for Friends of the Museum) Fee includes transportation and instruction. Participant pays for lodging and meals.
  • Requirements: Minimum age 14.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds for trip cancellations less $25 processing will be given if cancelled one week or more in advance. No refunds for cancellations less than one week unless cancelled by Museum.
