Artspace at the Museum: Extreme Mammal Sculpture

Meet artist Keith Norval and explore the extreme limits of your imagination as we create wondrous sculptures out of newspaper, masking tape and plaster. Work individually or as a group, no sculpture experience needed.

About the Instructor

Keith Norval, an Artspace artist, was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He received his BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2000 before relocating to Raleigh. His paintings feature bright colors, lots of animals, and some businessmen. Norval works in his studio at Artspace and teaches painting and printmaking at the Pullen Arts Center, Raleigh. His work is found in public and private collections in the United States as well as Norway, Japan, England, and South Africa.
