Extreme Human Body Systems

How much surface area is in your lungs? How many miles of blood vessels does the human body have? How fast do nerve impulses travel? Join us as we explore the extreme nature of the human body.

Please Note: This program is subject to cancellation if a minimum number of participants is not met. Refunds will only be given if this program is canceled by the Museum. Notice of cancellation will be given via email, at least 72 hours in advance.


  • Fee: $10 per participant or parent/child pair
  • Requirements: Minimum age 9. Children 9-15 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult participant and a maximum of 1 child age 9-15 can work together as a team.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the program
