Lifelong Hike: Capitol Tree Walk

Walk the wilds of downtown Raleigh to discover and enjoy some magnificent trees at or near our State Capitol.  Stay for lunch and enjoy the downtown museums before heading home.  Park on your own downtown or ride the Museum bus from Prairie Ridge.

Registration information:  Registration for this hike is full.

Registration deadline is two weeks prior to trip start date. Trips failing to reach the minimum registration numbers by the deadline date may be canceled. Please call to check on trip status if interested in registering after the deadline.

  • Fee: $8 per participant; $5 per member participant
  • Requirements: Minimum age 12 (minors must be accompanied by a registered adult)
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds for trip cancellations less $25 processing will be given if canceled one week or more in advance. No refunds for cancellations less than one week unless canceled by Museum.
