  • Saturday, September 12, 2015
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm

Citizen science is a valuable tool for teaching the public about the natural world. It provides non-scientists with an opportunity to contribute to real research and the data collected have led to important contributions to science. This workshop is designed to introduce educators of all types to the concept of citizen science and to provide them with the information, tips and tools they need to incorporate citizen science into their outdoor EE programs or lesson plans at their own sites.
