Biotechnology: The World of Drug Development

Pharmaceutical development – from the identification of a health problem to the successful creation and approval of a treatment – is a long and complex process. There are problems, setbacks, dangers, and amazing successes. In this “game-based class”, you will learn about the entire process of drug development, and compete to bring your drug to market first. We will also learn about the many professions involved and possible career paths.

  • Fee: $18 ($16 Friends of the Museum members) (plus tax)
  • Requirements: Minimum age 12 yrs. Parents do not need to attend the lab with their child but do need to remain in the museum. Prerequisite: None
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the program.
