A Bird’s Life

Come learn about one of the most intriguing animals on the planet: Birds!   We will learn the secrets of feather and wing design, nest manufacture, predator evasion techniques, and unique ways to catch food. Using taxidermy mounts, study skins, wings and nests from our teaching collection we will discover the amazing features of bird eggs; from color, patterns, and unique shapes to witnessing the incredible strength of a seemingly fragile egg!
