State College of Veterinary Medicine, presents “Bioluminescence: Natural Wonders and Tools for Scientific Discovery,” at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences on Monday, July 19 at 7 pm.

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences today received a $1 million gift from the Duke Energy Foundation. The funds will be used to support and raise awareness for the Nature Research Center, to create exhibits for the Center, and to help provide outreach opportunities across the state. “We very much look forward to working with the Duke Energy Foundation to make the Nature Research Center a world class learning environment,” said Museum director Betsy Bennett.
